Sonny Acuna

Prior to founding TAC in 1988 and becoming its president, Mr. Acuna served as Vice President of Sigma Plus, Inc., BITE, Inc., and the Center for Health Policy Studies. Mr. Acuna’s career spans some 30 years experience in financial management, business administration and development, financial controls, accounting, international trade, economic research, instruction systems development, and project management. He has directed and participated in numerous commercial, economic, sociological, and educational studies of national scope. His technical management experience on major government projects have included the B-1 Bomber, Titan IV Space Rocket, Tomahawk Cruise Missile, management of the Department of Energy SBIR Program, RESPA/ILS consumer fraud investigations, anti-terrorism training to law enforcement officials of friendly nations, and support to U.S. Governments assistance to the Newly Independent States of the Former Soviet Union’s defense conversion, and served as a member of the Science & Technology Advisory Council under the United Nations Development Program.
